Exploring Pasta Ever made pasta from scratch? This class will introduce you to basic pasta-making and explore the incorporation of other ingredients such as spices and vegetables. We’ll make noodle pastas and raviolis, then dine on our creations at the end!
Cooking Skills for the Jr. Chef This children’s cooking class, designed for ages 6+, introduces them to nutrition and meal planning, addresses kitchen safety, and teaches basic skills such as measuring, mixing, testing for doneness, setting the table & more! Children will prepare two recipes demonstrating these skills, and take the leftovers home. You'll want to pick them up early so you can taste too!
Mediterranean Pleasures Explore authentic ingredients and regional dishes of the Mediterranean countries. Taste za'tar and tahini, experience a variety of breads, olives and cheeses, learn where to shop for those special ingredients. We’ll prepare 6 different dishes including tabbuleh, ravioli, paella, and baklava. We’ll enjoy our creations at the end. |
Mastering the Mexican Kitchen We’ll visit different regions of Mexico through preparation of dishes such as sweet tamales, chile con queso, vera cruz sopes, chocolate caliente and Mexican pulled pork. Discover ingredients such as ancho, new mexico, and serrano chiles, masa, and pumpkin seeds. Learn cooking techniques such as roasting, toasting, and steaming and how they create these fabulous flavors!
Seasonings for Your Grill: Rubs, Marinades, & Sauces Learn the difference between these techniques and how they add flavor to your grilled creations. We’ll create rubs, marinades and sauces then grill up meat, seafood and vegetables to taste at the end. Take home your very own spice rub creation!
